MB/PhD student

Biography:

I am studying towards a combined medical degree and PhD (MB/PhD) at the University of Cambridge. I intercalated a BA in Department of Psychology before beginning my doctoral work supervised by Professors Paul Fletcher and Peter Jones. My research focuses on psychotic experiences occurring in adolescents and young adults in the general population using data from large-scale cohort studies. I am investigating how psychotic experiences are best measured, their health implications in young people, how they are influenced by environmental factors and their mechanisms in terms of information-processing. My work draws on methods from psychometrics, epidemiology and computational neuroscience.
